
Since February 2018 Roberto Baldoni is Vice-Director General of the Information Security Department leading the National Cybersecurity Architecture. He is Professor of Computer Science on leave from the University of Rome La Sapienza. Previously, Roberto has been the founder and the Director of the Sapienza Research Center for Cyber Intelligence and Information Security (CIS) and of the Cyber Security National Laboratory at Consorzio Interuniversitario Nazionale Informatica. He was the Italian Chair of the Cybersecurity working group of the US-IT bilateral science and technology cooperation as well as Chair of the IEEE committee on Dependable Computing and Fault Tolerance. Roberto published more than two hundreds articles and books on dependable and secure distributed systems being also chair of the most prestigious conferences of the area. Finally he was PI of several large European and National projects on cybersecurity launching and leading nationwide initiatives like the "Cybersecurity National Framework", the Cyberchallenge.IT program and the Italian White Book on Cybersecurity.
