Prof. Chris Johnson

 

Chris Johnson is Professor and Head of Computing at the University of Glasgow. His work focuses on improving the design and operation of 

safety-critical systems, particularly in the aviation and civil nuclear domains. He has held two fellowships from NASA working on the ISS and commercial

Space and two fellowships from the US Air Force working with Langley AFB and Space Command. He worked with Aeroports de Paris/Helios on the

cyber security of Airport Operations Centres.  He is advising the UK Department for Transport on means of securing data exchanges across 

airports, airlines and air traffic companies.  He is technical lead on a team helping to secure the Network Manager in European Air Traffic Management and

has some 300 peer reviewed publications
