Giampaolo Dedola is a security researcher at Kaspersky Lab and is a member of the company’s Global Research and Analysis Team (GReAT).
Before joining Kaspersky Lab he worked at Telecom Italia. He held the position of L3 SOC analyst, principal malware analyst and forensic analyst. Specifically he was part of the Incident Response team and was focused on critical incidents.
During is his job experience he gained also strong knowledges about DDoS attacks mitigation and he took parts to different cyber incident and crisis management exercises like “Cyber Europe” and “Cyber Italy”.
Currently his researches are focused on APT attacks, targeted attacks, financial threats and threat hunting techniques.
