Dr. Gaetano Sanacore is graduated in Electronic Engineering Telecommunications/Remote Control spec.;
He working at Ansaldo Energia S.p.A. from 2013 to date as technical manager for Protection, Metering and Scada for electrical systems in the generation and transmission of energy sector.
He worked in the Energy and remote control/teleprotecion of electrical networks with similar skills since 2004. With the experience of over 13 years in the energy sector, he has dealt with national and international roles within commissioning service, power plants and substations for the MT/AT generation/transmission/distribution as an operations field manager at power plant.
Since 2010 specializing in the field of ICT and Security of critical infrastructure by getting the 2nd level Master (University of Genoa and Ansaldo/Finmeccanica Foundation) and acquired certification Lead Auditor ISO 27001 - Certification.
He was made a member of the Technical Committee IEC/CENELEC and IEC, CT 57 in the Expert Management System(EMS); WG10 - WG15. He is currently the scientific director of the “National Observatory for the Cyber Security, Resilience and Business Continuity of electrical grids” University of Genoa(IT), making it an active part since June 2015.
